New Striker Hint for Man Utd

Sir Alex Ferguson, Manager of Manchester United has hinted in a press conference that he will be signing a new striker within the next 2 days.

He told reporters that they may be surprised to see what transpires over the next couple of days. He had previously told reporters last week that there would be a new payer in Man Utd’s line-up for the start of the season, and there is still time for that to happen.

It is not outside the realm of possibility that a new player is signed at this late stage before Sundays kickoff against Newcastle but people are arguing that it is unlikely. This is Manchester United though, and they are not usually bound by such trivial things as time constraints.

The player that is the centre of the speculation is Dimitar Berbatov who currently plays for Tottenham. Berbatov is well respected within Manchester United and would be a welcome addition to the team, not only for the management but for the players as well.

If the signing doesn’t happen then it will be up to Rooney and Tevez to open the score sheet for United, we are sure that they won’t disappoint.

Spain Vs Germany

Spain made sure it did not disappoint any of its fans Sunday night, both during its 1-0 victory against Germany to win the European Championship and after it. Thanks to Fernando Torres who struck in the 33rd minute and the Germans didn’t back down then.
